In about an hour, I'm leaving for the beach with my parents and grandparents for a relaxing week. There will be sunbathing, swimming, clam digging, and many games of Yahtzee and Ladderball. I can probably look forward to a lot of losing this week, as Gram already told me she looks forward to clobbering anyone within reach at Yahtzee. And she and my Uncle J - Team Elders - were the surprise 2nd place team in a family Ladderball tournament in July. I will be forced to drown my sorrows in a swan dessert at the Olympia Tea Room.
I am going to unplug for the week. I'll be back the following week with an update on starting work downtown. Beach, here I come!
