acky berry

Emmett had his 4 month appointment this morning. We were pretty close on his weight -- he is 16lb, 13oz and 25in tall. Everything was great, he just has some eczema on his face, which I knew. He comes by it naturally. She gave us some cream for it, but also recommended shea butter as a good everyday lotion for his face to help that.

I took Emmett over to the mall this afternoon to get some shea butter, and on our way out we passed through JC Penney. Near a checkout counter, a woman wearing tight sweatpants, a t-shirt and a greasy ponytail was standing around talking to two other people. She was missing at least one front tooth, and she was wearing blue fuzzy socks. No shoes. She was talking in a very loud voice about how she was just upstairs and had a protein shake. I believe she had an acai berry shake, but she believes it was acky berry. She really likes that acky berry and it tastes good and boy is that acky berry good for you but those acky berry protein shakes really make you shit.

That's hilarious! Your baby boy is roughly the same size Weston was at the same age- fun!

Nice. (re: acky berry lady)

I'm happy to hear Emmett is doing so well - Grayson is four months old in one week! It's fun to follow your blog because our boys are pretty much the exact same age!

Unfortunately it takes all kinds. The ones you need to watch out for are the ones who are like that on the inside, but don't make it obviouse on the out. Good for a hoot when it all comes together in one gaud-awful package though....
